Washington – Many may be waiting to hear Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama speak, but millions were tuned in this week to see Hillary Clinton.

Sen. Hillary Clinton have her prietiem speech to 26 million U.S. viewers at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night.

This is nearly 5 times as many people who watched the DNC four years ago.

Four years ago, speeches on Day Two of the DNC were watched by just 5 million viewers.

All major networks showcased Clinton at the 10 p.m. EDT slot on Tuesday.

Her much-anticipated speech was carried on every major network.

Michelle Obama’s speech Monday also drew big numbers, 22.3 million viewers.
