Google has just signed a deal with Sony that will allow Sony to put it’s Chrome web browser on all of their new machines. This will take effect this summer.
As of now it is not clear whether or not Chrome will be the only browser on the new machines, Internet Explorer is the most frequently used browser at this time compared to 3% using Chrome.
As of now Google is keeping pretty quiet about the deal however it has acknowledged it will be looking at other companies to market Chrome to.
Chrome browser was first introduced in September 2008, it is considered a much faster and modern browser and some of the Sony machines have already been posted for sale using it.
As far as the market is concerned Internet Explorer still leads the way with 67.7 % We have yet to see how many other PC companies Google will be able to sign agreements with.
