Washington - Nintendo unveiled their new handheld thsi week, the DSi, a revamped version of the DS portable. It is coming to Japan this year, but what about the U.S.?
The Nintendo DSi is going to feature a built-in Web browser, larger screen, as well as two integrated cameras.
Nintendo Chief Executive Satoru Iwata announced the DSi this week in Tokyo, stating that it will release in Japan this year with the price point of $179.
It will launch in November 1st, and will compete directly with thing such as the Apple iPod, and other media devices.
Nintendo is touting the DSi as a full media player, playing games, music, and more.
It will also sell games over the Wi-Fi connection, which can be purhcased with Nintendo Points.
What about the U.S. though? Nintendo has stated we hae to wait until 2009.
