Washington – According to reports, Apple Inc is on pace to sell 5 million iPhones in Q4 2008.
The estimates are that Apple is set to move 5 million iPhone 3G units in fiscal Q4, which will end on September 30th.
The previous estimates of 4.1 million iPhones have been increased to 5 million by Piper Jaffray’s Gene Munster.
The new target is for Apple to sell 7.4 million iPhones before the start of the holiday shopping season.
The overall sales goal by the end of 2008 is at 10 million iPhones, and now appears within reach.
