Pro Windows Commercials Debut To Mixed Reviews
Redmond, WA- The first in a series of Pro Windows Commercials has been unveiled to mixed reviews.
The first pro windows commercial features Microsoft Founder Bill Gates, and actor and comedian Jerry Seinfeld hit the airwaves on Thursday evening.
The commercial did not mention the Windows operating system, and was a little confusing as it focused on the interaction of Seinfelt and Bate at a discount shoe store.
The first commercial that is in support of Microsoft and to not have it talk about or mention the Windows OS operating system is a bit strange, but it does make you think about how Windows stacks up in other ways.
The competition ads for Apple features John Hodgeman and Justin Long as Windows and Apple operating systems respectfully, and their contrast between how they operate.
The fact that Microsoft released a new ad and that it does not mention the Windows Operating system is quite a head scratch issue.
Because of its extremely low-key approach, industry insiders are not sure if the new Microsoft ad will attract users to the Microsoft family of products. But many in the industry do acknowledge that the new ad, because of the high visibility of Jerry Seinfeld and creator Bill Gates may yet have a positive impact in some way on Microsoft product sales.
The new commercial is less than appealing in some ways, but it does feature two well-known stars interacting.
Only time will tell about the success or failure of this ad effort, but so far it is experiencing a mixed review bag.
