Debute Of New Browser May Be Subdued For A Reason
Washington, D.C.-The rise of Google to power, and the relatively laid back release of its new web Browser in the past ten days makes people in the industry take a breath and wonder why.
With the money, and the power that Google has amassed, Google could have released Chrome to a huge media frenzy.
Instead, the Web Browser was released fairly quietly, almost as an afterthought, and many in the electronics industry are curious as to why that is.
High tech and computers are issues that increasingly dominate our lives, and over the last decade slowly Google has risen to power, to the position that many people do not realize just how much power Google has amassed.
Why then would such a powerful juggernaut of a company issue a web browser almost as an afterthought?
No one is entirely sure, but what is certain is that Chrome was released in a very low key and relaxed manner, and that it will take a long period of time for Chrome to be accepted into the industry as a whole.
The timing, the release of Chrome on a national holiday was in itself odd, such a product is almost never released on a holiday.
Chrome, if at all typical of the products goods and services by its new parent company, may be a true jewel in the rough, but only time will tell if this is the new Web Browser of the future.
