New York – Google enthusiasts around the world rejoice; the new Google browser, called chrome, will be released on Tuesday, September 2nd, and it’s already the talk of the net. With never before seen features that cater to web technologies that haven’t even been developed, it seems apparent that Google is out to win the browser battle from the moment they begin combat.
Google’s release of their revolutionary browser has been widely rumored for some time, stemming from the early release of a creatively inspired comic book that introduced the new browser’s features and abilities. The release was then delayed, in typical software designer fashion, due to human error. According to the Google blogosphere, “…we hit ’send’ a bit early on a comic book introducing our new open-source browser…” but never fear, world citizens, if the browser is half of what is advertised, the wait will have been well worth it.
Over time, the internet has progressed from a primitive information medium exclusively for programmers to the world dominating, image flooding, dynamic content providing staple that we have now come to know, love, and depend on. Unfortunately, the current browsers on the market are now having some difficulty keeping up with the constantly growing demands of current internet content. From random glitches to cascading crashes, today’s browsers are quickly falling behind, much to the frustration of surfers around the globe.
Using an innovative new, isolating “sandbox†technology, Google Chrome is now able to compartmentalize operations in the same way that multiple processors speed up a computer’s ability to multitask.
This helps to prevent multiple tabs from crashing each other with a domino-like effect, and makes way for the next generation in internet content.
Google Chrome will be released only in Windows format for the moment, but Mac and Linux versions are already under way, as well as improvements and updates for the September 2nd version .
So if you haven’t yet found the right browser with the capabilities you’re looking for, or if you just want to have the latest and greatest innovation in browsing technology, look for Google Chrome and you won’t be disappointed.
