Tokyo- The announcement of a new version of the Final Fantasy Game to be unveiled next year has peaked the attention of the online and Video game community

Square Unix Co. Ltd has stepped up and announced that it will launch its Final Fantasy XIII game next year in 2009 in Japan.

The earnings of annual software companies varies a great deal, and by launching a new title Square Unix appears to be trying to jocky for position with the big players in the Video game world.

The announcement was made in a Tokyo and up to the time of the announcement Square Enix had not been quoted about the new game system.

The new game will be offered by Square Enid for the Xbox 360, the Playstation 3, and perhaps for other game systems.

Square Enid is a new player on the block but by offering a new version of a long standing title such as Final Fantasy XIII gives the company instant name recognition and a certain ability to compete against other gaming titles.

No word yet is there are other new titles due out from the other big name video game manufactures.
