New York – A new study from IBM, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and Google suggests that 41% of internet users are using olderbrowsers that are at increases security risks.
the study suggests that web users simply do not bother to update their browsers when new updates become available.
The data was collected from information from the Google database.
Researchers found that only Mozilla FireFox users were more likely to use up-to-day browser which have the latest security updates.
83.3% of the FireFox users were found to have installed the latest version of web software and this is because Mozilla offers the most quickest and painless patch process so far.
