New York – The first games for the Apple iPhone have been priced and dated.
Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple announced the games at his WWDC 2008 keynote address.
It appears Apple may be poised to take a chunk of the portable gaming market with their smartphone.
The first game was Super Monkey Ball from Sega, selling on day one when the App Store launches for $9.99.
On top of that, Pangea Software showed off Mac ports of Cro-Mag Rally, and a 3D puzzler Engimo for the iPhone, also selling for $9.99 on launch day of the App Store.
Finally was Digital Legends Entertainment, who announced Kroll, a 3D action-adventure game.
The demo was very impressive and should release in September.
