True Blood has a habit of ending most episodes with a cliff hanger, but the Season 2 finale actually wasn’t that bad. The show lost 2 characters this season, Maryann and Eggs. Both characters were a great addition to the show and served their purposes, but getting rid of them was a great idea at this point. Killing off Maryann and Eggs gave a nice sense of closure to the plot this season was based on. There are several interesting story lines that true blood fans can look forward to next season. Bill was kidnapped, Sam Merlot is on a quest to find his birth parents, and it turns out Eric was selling vampire blood under orders from the Queen.
Bill proposed to Sookie, and Bill was kidnapped before she had given him an answer. It is unclear who kidnapped Bill, but there are clues pointing to Eric.
Bill is not supposed to know Eric is selling vampire blood. Eric had promised the Queen he would make sure Bill was not a problem, so Eric seems to be the most likely suspect at this point. The town has been liberated from Maryann’s spell, and most of them do not remember anything about the ordeal at all.
The Season 2 finale was satisfying to watch, and it will be interesting to see what direction the show takes next season.

At the end of Episode Ten fans of the Charlaine Harris series of southern vampire books hoped to meet Sophie Ann LeClerc, the most frightening vampire in all Louisiana. Vampire Bill raced to Sophie Ann’s home in New Orleans for help in destroying the Maenad, MaryAnn.
Sookie coped with the living asylum for the criminally insane that is now Bon Temps and a rescued Tara with the help only of Lafayette and Lettie Mae. Jason, Andy, and Sam were trying to develop a plan of action to save the town.
Jason is convinced that Armageddon has arrived, Andy is just stupid, and Sam is lost. Into this mix steps Arlene’s two hungry and neglected children. Sam determines to seek out Eric’s help with the Maenad while Jason and Andy race to the police station to arm themselves. There Jason and Andy find a nymphomaniacal female, the sheriff dressed in his uniform shirt and underwear, and a deputy with a gun. After a few contrived altercations Jason and Andy get the weapons and race to Sookie’s house.
Meanwhile, Tara has persuaded Lettie Mae to set her free and Lettie Mae has terrorized Lafayette into a near comatose state with the rifle. Tara takes off after Eggs and Sookie manages to disarm Lettie Mae. She and Lafayette also race to her house to wage war against the Maenad Maryann.
This episode was like watching someone’s nightmare-A contrived inconceivable plot with a giant unexplained egg at the end.

True Blood – Season 2 Episode 11 – “Frenzy”
With this being the last episode before the season finale of HBO’s sexiest, bloodiest and perhaps most entertaining series, expectations are running as high as ever.
True Blood, a series about the co-existence of vampires and humans in a fictional Louisiana town by the name of “Bon Temps,” has not disappointed in its second season, earning 3 Emmy nominations in stiff competition from its other HBO counterparts.
“Frenzy” promises to be just as captivating as each episode prior to it. One question that likely every die-hard True Blood fan wants an answer to is; how did Sookie manage to “glow” and save both herself and Bill from Maryann? It was known she was a telepath but what does this newfound power mean?
There are definitely a lot of questions that will be answered in dramatic fashion in these last 2 episodes of True Blood. Episode 11 will be another thriller, as Sookie and Lafayette may just come to the realization that protecting Tara from herself it not as easy as they thought.
What are Sam and Jessica planning to do now? Will Bill be able to squeeze out information from Sophie-Ann, the Vampire Queen of Louisiana herself?
We look to have answers to these questions and more in this prequel to the season 2 finale. “Frenzy” will air Sunday, August 30th at 9:00pm on HBO.
