The American actor John Stamos, 46, former husband of the beautiful Rebecca Romijn, has been victim of an attempted extortion plot by two individuals from Michigan, according to media reports.
The two undesirable people were arrested at the airport in Princetown December 3, and the FBI after a raid on their home, discovered an envelope where the mobile phone, newspaper clippings and photos of the actor were well described.
They demanded Stamos pay the sum of 700 000 dollars.
The threat was for the nude photos of the actor.
Stamos quickly alerted the police, who after a quick investigation, identified the extortionists.
