Critics have said that quarterback Tom Brady’s personal life is to blame for the New England Patriots’ recent losses. The general consensus is that Brady has been distracted this year, especially since his marriage to Gisele Bundchen and the birth of their son Benjamin in December.
According to critics, playing with injuries such as a hurt shoulder, cracked ribs and a broken finger did not contribute to his lackluster performances of late. When questioned about his injuries, Brady had this to say: “I think injuries are a bunch of BS. When you can play, you play. When you can’t play, you can’t play. I think we all deal with injuries, I really do.”
As for rumors that he is distracted due to his family life as well as his ventures in real estate, Brady stated that “It’s funny for me – there is not a lot of things going on in my life other than my career and my family. I think my life is very focused.” He went on to say “I prioritized with the things that are important to me. That’s my family and my football career. There’s nothing other than that.”
Within his first four years as a starter Brady has won three Super Bowls and was within seconds of the 4th win.
Earlier this week, supermodel Gisele Bundchen has gave birth to her first child, a baby boy.
The baby’s name and details surrounding the birth were not disclosed.

Actor Mickey Rourke has asked his new Russian girlfriend to marry him.
The 57 year-old actor asked model girlfriend Elena Kuletskaya, 24, to marry him last week over dinner. Rourke has told friends that he’s planning a wedding in Moscow in April.
A source said “They haven’t booked a venue or made any solid plans. He just knows he wants to do it in April, and he’s been asking what is involved in a traditional Russian wedding ceremony.”

Host of the HBO sports show“Real Sports,”Bryant Gumbel said he is recovering from surgery and treatment for lung cancer.
The former host of TV’s “Today” on Tuesday said that two months ago had a malignant tumor removed from one of his lungs.
He is positive and hopes for a full recovery.
