Sir Elton John, the heartbeat of millions, was admitted to a hospital suffering with flu and E. coli. He got discharge from the hospital on late Wednesday night. Sir Elton John said that he feels absolutely fine now and is ready to resume the planned tour.
His performances at Liverpool and Dublin were postponed after he got hit with flu and E. coli infection, which was said to be severe. The organizers are now planning to reschedule the postponed shows that are likely to be organized during the month of December.
Another series of concerts were canceled for the dates of November 4, 7 and 10 in United States. According to a report from the sources, the rock star is going to join Billy Joel on 14 November to perform in Oakland, California.
Sir Elton John and Billy Joel had been performing together in their Face 2 Face tour during the summer, which was a huge success. However, Billy Joel had to drop out because of serious health issues.
Now on 14 November in Oakland, California, both these superstars are going to join again to rock the world.
Sir Elton John is on the mend after a stint with the flu and E. coli virus. The famed music man fell ill on October 23rd while on tour, and has spent the last week in the hospital. The 62 year old has had to cancel several joint shows with fellow musical star Billy Joel. John is currently resting at home before he is due in the US next week.
The two are set to perform on November 14th at the Oakland Oracle Arena. The duo was scheduled to play at Seattle’s Key Arena on November 4th but had to cancel. John was forced to cancel the final dates of his Red Piano tour because of the nasty virus. There have been no announcements about rescheduling the concerts that were missed in the United States. The final dates for the Red Piano world tour, will hopefully be rescheduled for the European concerts in December.
Billy Joel and Elton John have been on their Face 2 Face tour together throughout the summer. Joel had to cancel several shows in July due to influenza as well.
