Harris stated that working on Dancing With the Stars was a dream job that gave her more opportunity than she ever imagined, and that she had made lifelong friends along the way.

Her co-host Tom Bergeron says that Harris will be missed but that he knew that her role in The Insider was going to be getting larger, and that he was all too familiar with the feeling of being pulled in several different directions when you try to juggle more than one job.

He also said that while he was pleased for his co-host he was also sad to see her move on.

Harris, who majored in journalism at North Western University and while still in college she also interned at Entertainment Tonight.

She knew that she always wanted to work in that type of media, and now she has her chance.

This is the very first child for Henao and 3-time Indy 500 winner Castroneves, so let’s hope he takes to diaper duty as quickly as he learned his fancy step-work on Dancing With The Stars!

They announced they were expecting in October of 2009 but weren’t really expecting their bundle of joy to arrive until the first week of January. Who could blame the little beauty for wanting to help mom and dad ring in the New Year?

Although there have been no plans or announcement of a wedding for the couple, in the past, Castroneves has been quoted as saying that marriage would be the “natural next step”.

Whatever the future holds for this very happy family of three remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure; this DTWTS and Indy 500 champ is a superstar professionally and will no doubt be just the same at home. Good luck to the lucky couple!

Osmond began his career singing with his brothers at the age of 5.

On Wednesday at the show, he sang one of his hits from 1970, Puppy Love.

When his name was announced as the winner, he rushed to his wife Debbie, who sat among the audience, he raised and led the dance floor.

“If you saw the work that went into this season,” Osmond said softly. “Kym is so amazing. Of all the things I’ve done in my career, this is right up there.”

He later added, “That was so special for me to have Kym on my right and Debbie on my left. What a night,”

“He is a credit to his profession,” Bruno Tonioli said. “The guy is a star.”

On Monday night, each couple performed three dances: Donny and Kym Johnson, Kelly and Louis van Amstel, and Mya Dmitry, the scores will be combined with the votes from the viewers as well as a final performance to give the judges one more chance to score the contestants.

Throughout the three dances, Mya scored the highest overall with Donny only two points behind, and Kelly staggering nine points further than Donny.

While Mya is an incredible dancer, her Monday night performances were simply not exciting nor motivating enough to beat the huge array of Donny Osmond fans.

In the end it will be a battle against who is more skilled and who is more popular.

Today, fans are outraged with the results.

whole season. It should have been Mya and her partner,
then Joanna and Derek then Kelly and her partner.
Derek is an inspiration for all men who enjoying dancing. The show was ruined by the loss of these two and keeping Donnie on no matter how good a performer he is.
No wonder he was smiling he pulled off a fast one on a
tremendous dancer in Derek.

What a huge disappointment to see Joanna eliminated last night. This is supposed to be a DANCE CONTEST not a popularity (or fan-based) contest. This has been our favorite show but my husband and I may not even watch the rest of the shows or even any next season. The judges should carry more weight than viewers. Why should everyone stop watching the show or say it is rigged. It is upfront when they say it is the judge scores and the fan vote. That is what the show says. It is based on the fan vote also those of the judges. So it is upfront with they say this. So if you want to quit watching quit. But it is not a professional dance circuit. It is Dancing with the Stars and it does include the fan vote. That is just what makes the show the way it is. Why do you think the stars are asking for calls. Because that is how the show is set up. It is a competition but it is also about supporting your favorite star. Joanan Krupa was an amazing dancer. But again the fan vote is what makes Dancing with the Stars the show it is.

I was furious! If this is a popularity show, why learn to dance well? Let the judges rule at least by 3/4. If it stays this way or Mya doesn’t win, I’m through. Donnie and Kelly should not be there. Don’t call this a dancing competition! What a bad joke!!

Agree that Donnie should have been gone weeks ago. The judges promoted him by not giving any bad marks to him. It was always “what an entertainer you are, Donnie.” I understand he even took dancing lessons but still he is just show boating. What a whiner not a winner. Be gone, overdue.

still be on the show wonderful dancer i have myfavorite personalities on the show also but if

Other seasons some celebs lasted longer than their dancing; the past couple–good celeb dancers left earlier than others, ie Kelly and Donnie should have left b/4 female swimmer and Aaron – – Joanna leaving b/4 Kelly and Donnie – it’s become a farce!!!! Give the judges MORE of the vote – to get the BEST DANCER!! Seems the judges this season expected MORE of Mya and Joanna – wasn’t it just 2 wks ago that they were telling Kelly she better pick it up – they gave her praise and 8’s when she admittedly screwed up and where was her zip in her jitterbug – go back and look – nowhere near the others – expect the SAME out of all of them and judge accordingly..

I think the finalists should have been Mya, Aaron, and Joanna. Kelly and Donnie are obviously not as good as the other 3. There has to be some way to make it fairer. It’s not supposed to be a popularity contest and that’s what it’s turning into!

Dancing Witch The Stars is now down to the final three as Joanna Krupa and her professional dance partner Derek Hough were eliminated from the competition yesterday.

Krupa, 30, proved she was in it to win with consistently earning high scores throughout the season. Krupa and Hough  earned an impressive 81 out of 90 points for their performances on Monday’s episode.

“It’s been such an amazing experience,” Krupa said after learning her fate. “I’ve grown as a person. Thank you for giving me the opportunity.”

“Last night was pretty tough,” Krupa told “Good Morning America” today. “I wasn’t too shocked to find out I was leaving. I was competing against huge names. … I was prepared for it, but I am bummed, I won’t lie. I tried my best.”

Blogs and forums are buzzing today with some fans speculating that perhaps final downfall was just poor song choice.  The choice of Leonard Cohen’s very sad “Hallelujah” for the waltz was just a bit odd.

The remaining 3 contestants will hit the dance floor when “Dancing With the Stars” continues next week on ABC in an effort to win the  coveted mirrorball trophy.

Krupa told “GMA” she favors Kelly Osbourne for the championship.

“She came in raw with no experience. She deserves a chance to win the title,” Krupa said of the reality TV star. “She’s a doll face. I adore her.”

We’re down to the final five on Dancing With the Stars.

Last night, the stars had to tackle two individual full-length dances, one ballroom, and one Latin that is themed as a dance through the decades.

Mya pulled away from the pack on “Dancing with the Stars” Monday, with the season’s first 30 and a near perfect 59 out of 60 for her night’s two dances.

Once the recipient of many low scores from Len Goodman, Mya got two 10s from him Monday, for her quickstep and disco-styled samba.  She was 59 out of 60 for her night’s two dances.

“Dancing With the Stars” was the most-watched series Monday with over 17-million viewers.

On Tuesday night’s results show, airing on ABC at 9 p.m., multi-platinum Grammy Award-winning artist Michael Buble will perform “Haven’t Met You Yet,” the first single from his just-released Crazy Love CD. Susan Boyle is also expe ted to perform.

As the latest season of Dancing with the Stars rolls on, the popular celebrity show has entered into its double-elimination phase, where two couples per show are going home now, as opposed to just one unlucky star and their partner. Eventually, one dancing duo will win the show, but until then you’d better vote hard to keep your favorites on the stage.

After seven weeks of competitive dancing, Tuesday night saw the unsurprising elimination of two of the weakest links left, football star Michael Irvin and his partner Anna Demidova, and celebrity chef Mark Dacascos plus professional partner Lacey Schwimmer. Irvin and his partner had the lowest combined score after their performance Monday night, based on numbers from both the judges and the votes from viewers alike.

Dacascos danced the samba most of the week with a different partner, Lacey having been under the weather and out most of the week. While she reunited with him for the final samba they would dance, Mark admits to being under stress trying to rehearse a routine with a partner that was new for him. Irvin danced a “gracious” and “brilliant” foxtrot, according to the judges, but it wasn’t enough to save him in the end.

Mark and Michael join the growing list of celebrities who have been booted from this season’s show, including UFC fighter Chuck Liddell and actress Melissa Joan Hart.

Dancing with the Stars officially announced its 2009 lineup Monday on the Good Morning America show. Athletes are again a major component of the contestant roster, with four included in this year’s competition. They join a mix of celebrities, models, musicians and the surprise pick of this season, indicted politician Tom Delay. Athletes have historically done well on the show, with five former athletes numbered among the winners.

As in the past the show has assembled an eclectic group of contestants attempting to draw a wide range of viewers. Athletes in this version of Dancing with the Stars are swimmer and Olympic medal winner Natalie Coughlin, professional snowboarder Louie Vito, UFC lightweight champion Chuck Liddell and former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin. Representing the world of modeling are recent “Superstars” participant Joanna Krupa and former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kathy Ireland. Keeping a family tradition alive, Donny Osmond follows his sister Marie into the dance arena, hopefully not repeating her live fainting performance.

Several contestants share musical backgrounds, such as singers Macy Gray and Mya, as well as Aaron Carter and reality show veteran Kelly Osbourne. Action movie star Mark Dacascos joins three other actors in this season’s competition. Ashley Hamilton, son of George Hamilton, “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” star Melissa Joan Hart and Debbie Mazar of “Entourage” round out the acting contingent.

While not the oldest celebrity ever engaged, Tom Delay may be the most unusual in the show’s history. Known in Washington’s political circles as “The Hammer”, Delay accepted the producers’ long shot offer to participate. He claims to enjoy dancing with his wife and has engaged a personal trainer to prepare for the event. His political skills may be as important as nimble feet, as Delay’s political machine is already sending supporters e-mails to garner votes.
