Ever since it was announced that golf will be an Olympic sport in 2016, the golf craze has begun.
This weekend in China matched up great golfers from around the world.
The media was out in full force to get a glimpse of some of the best golfers in the world.
The HSBC Champions tournament in now a WGC golf event which means it is regarded as one of the biggest tournaments of the year.
The tournament was full of action from the first to last round.
Tiger Woods got off to a hot start and was tied for the lead after two rounds. Phil Michelson rallied in the third round to take a lead heading into the final day.
Tiger was not able to mount a charge, but the hot putting Ernie Els made it interesting.
“Anything that could go wrong went wrong for me today,” Woods said.
However, Mickelson was able to continue his strong play from the third round and sank a huge birdie putt on the 17th hole to hold off Els and Woods for his fourth victory of the year.
