New York – Summer Olympics “It†boy Michael Phelps won eight gold medals in Beijing, and now the swimmer will test the waters on Saturday Night Live.
Phelps will host the 34th season première of the long-running sketch comedy show when it airs Sept. 13.
TV Guide reports that the episode will “reunite†Phelps with musical guest Lil’ Wayne, the man behind the gold-medalist’s warm-up tunes.
Phelps will also appear on 30 Rock before doing a spot on The Tonight Show on Sept. 8.
