Montreal – Drug Enforcement Administration agents revealed shocking new details about Chris Benoit’s steroid consumption on Tuesday.

The former WWE wrestler, who murdered his wife and son before committing suicide, was way overprescribed by his dubious doctor, Phillippe Astin, who is currently being investigated by authorities.

Pharmacy records show that, from May 2006 to May 2007, Astin has prescribed Benoit, on average, “a 10-month supply of anabolic steroids every three to four weeks.”

Benoit’s doctoc is being charged with the improper dispensing of painkillers and other drugs to patients.

Dr. Phil Astin faced a seven-count indictment. He dispensed drugs to Benoit and other patients which included Percocet, Xanax, Lorcet, as well as Vicoprofen. This was all between April 2004 and September 2005, reported CNN.

Investigators are trying to make a connection with Benoit’s drug use and the murders.
