Washington (EON) – Reports are stating that Google has developed a new prototype cell phone which they are showing off to manufacturers.
The plan is for Google to get their phone to market within a year and has plams to offer consumers free subscriptions by bundling advertisements with its search engine, e-mail, and web browser software applications.
Google is currently showing off their new cell phone to many network operators as well as manufacturers as it continues to work on the phone. The Google cell phone apparently has a better web browser than anything currently out there, including the iPhone.
It has been rumored for months now that Google would be bringing out their own cell phone and will use commercial advertising dollars to keep the price of the phone down and reportedly subscriptions costs free. This compares to Apple’s $60 per month subscription cost and $599 price tag for the iPhone.
