Toronto – Today will mark the thirteenth day of the search for Victoria Stafford’s remains.
Police have been on a ramped search for the eight-year olds body. They have been searching between Woodstock and Cambridge, along Highway 401.
This past weekend investigators were putting their concentration in searching in forested areas southwest of Ontario, but no new evidence has come up with the case of the missing girl.
As the search is in progress the grieving parents of Victoria Stafford are planning a memorial service for her.
Tara McDonald and Rodney Stafford, Tori’s parents, announced that the memorial will take place at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Woodstock on June 6 at 1 p.m.
The parents initially didn’t want to have one until the remains were recovered, but this past Friday the police told Rodney that there is a possibility that the remains may never be found of his daughter.
The Calvary Pentecostal Church can seat 800 people in the main auditorium and another 300 can watch the memorial service on a closed-circuit television in the overflow room.
They are expecting a full house, because of the impact this tragedy has had on so many people.
The two people that are being charged against Tori’s abduction and murder are Terri-Lynne McClintic, and Michael Rafferty. They both will have a separate trial for the charges.
