Train Delrails In Burlington Ontario

Toronto – About 19 cars of a CN Rail freight train have derailed early today in Burlington.
Halton Regional police say four of the cars are tankers, which flipped onto their sides in the accident at about 1 a.m.
They say none of the tankers contained toxic materials and no evacuations will be needed.
No injuries are reported and the cause is being investigated.
The derailment will affect GO Transit and VIA Rail service. All GO trains will begin and end at Burlington. Passengers travelling between Aldershot and Burlington will be accomodated by GO buses. VIA Rail says that affected lines will be re-routed or replaced by bus service.
