Toronto – Union Station is getting a facelift and the city wants your ideas.
Torontonians are urged to visit the transportation hub to see the display panels that outline the changes, speak with staff and fill out a questionnaire with their ideas.
“It’s important that Torontonians get involved and direct the future of Union Station; it’s a major heritage and transportation investment for the City of Toronto, Ontario and Canada,” explains Mayor David Miller.
“We’re investing in Union Station to bring it back to life and make it a world class station. I encourage all Torontonians to come out and see what we want Union Station to become, and tell us what’s most important to you.”
You can also go online to see the recommended approach and answer a questionnaire via e-mail. The deadline is November 19 and a report goes to the Executive Committee on November 26.
