The clown show at the White continues. According to reports, shortly after the news leaked about FBI Director James Comey’s firing yesterday, Sean Spicer did what all Press Secretaries do in times of crisis: he hid in the bushes.
Spicer and his staff huddled behind a hedge Tuesday night in order to avoid a swarm of reporters, The Washington Post reported. The Press Secretary finally emerged from the bushes and agreed to speak with journalists on the grounds that everyone turn their “lights off” so he couldn’t be filmed.
It was a terrifying moment for democracy and the future of Western Civilization — buuuut an absolutely delightful one for the internet.
Sean Spicer can run from the press. He can’t run from dorks on Twitter making jokes about our White House Press Secretary hiding in bushes.

Mr Comey was leading the investigation of alleged Russian hacking of the US election, and of claimed ties between Trump associates and the Kremlin.
But Mr Trump, who has denied any such links, said it was Mr Comey’s handling of the probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server — which the Democrat blamed for helping her lose the election — that meant a new face was needed to restore public trust.
