Ryan Jenkins, 32, a former Reality TV Star, accused of killing his bikini model wife, Jasmine Fiore on August 15th was found dead at a Vancouver-area motel. Wanted in California on first-degree charges, Jenkins was being internationally searched as he fled the country.
Confirming that Jenkins was found dead at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Federal Boarder Integrity Unit believes it to be a suicide based on preliminary evidence; though confirmation has not been released.
Fiore’s body was found on August 15th dumped in a suitcase with her fingers cut off and teeth pulled out; this believed to be an attempt by Jenkins to make identifying the victim more difficult. Jenkins, a finalist for VH1’s Megan Wants a Millionaire, soon fled the country sparking an international manhunt which ended in the discovery of his body by a motel staff member.
A new report states that the woman who helped Ryan Jenkins check into the motel was his half-sister Alena Jenkins. Reports were made Tuesday evening by another Canadian reporter stating that they had been in touch with Alena Jenkins to gain more information regarding Ryan Jenkins whereabouts, but were unsuccessful in gaining any additional information.
More details to follow.
