Tuesday, June 09, 2009 – Rogers Wireless announced via Twitter, thier plans for the highly anticipated iPhone 3g S.
Keith McArthur, spokesperson for Rogers Wireless provided the details.
- June 19, 2009 Fido and Rogers Wireless will be putting the iPhone 3GS on the market.
- Starting today Rogers is offering the $30/6GB data plan that is for a limited time, for the iPhones.
- On June 19 the 8GB iPhone version will drop its price to $99 with a 3 year data and voice plan through Rogers Wireless or Fido.
- The 16GB iPhone is available for $199 and the 32GB iPhone costs $299 with a 3 year data and voice plan with Fido or Rogers.
The 3GS iPhone was introduced last year at the releasing of the iPhone 3G.
All of the data plans are attached to the voice plan chosen of the user.
Another plan that can be added is the 500MB that costs $25 per month, which is not a sale; it remains the same price as it was.
With this no contract, pay as you go plan, McArthur stated in a response to a question that there is no contract price to those customers that want an upgrade before they are eligible.
The iPhone 3GS details were announced at the WWDC session that was held earlier today.
