Man Stabbed Then Beheaded In Senseless Random Violence

Portage LA Prairie, Manitoba- In an unknown senseless act of violence, a man was apparently stabbed to death, then his head cut off aboard a Greyhound bus that was bound from Edmonton to Winnipeg.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are calling the event “a major incident,” and little is known about the rational, motive or reason behind such a radical, intense act of mindless rage.

All the traffic lanes on the Trans Canada highway west of Portage LA Prairie are remaining closed while the RCMP try and make sense of this vile act.

The Greyhound bus was in the eastbound lane and stopped at about 8:45pm local time after the apparent senseless violent assault.

One of the 37 passengers on the bus, a man named Garnet Caton said that he was a witness to the attack.

“We heard a scream and saw a man stabbing another with a large hunting knife, over and over and over,” said Mr. Caton.

People rushed off the bus while the attack continued in the back, and as passengers left the bus several witnessed what seemed like an effort to cut the victim’s head off.

Later, the attacker calmly walked to the front of the bus with the victims head in his hand.

Police have the attacker in custody, and little is known as to motive or reason for this bizarre violent act. RCMP police are continuing their investigation.
