Eight Year Old Was Tied Up And Gagged.

Quebec- Witnesses and Police were able to track and apprehend kidnappers of an 8-year-old child and prevent anyone from harming the young child.

The young boy was snatched from the street, and stuffed into a trunk of a vehicle, while witnesses followed, tracking the abductors.

Ryan Murphy was stopped at a traffic signal and preparing to drive on when he observed a young boy struggling to try to get out of a car truck, which was open a little.

Murphy, age 24 years, followed the suspicious vehicle for a while until it stopped, and then Murphy called the police.

When police arrived they found the little boy tied up, gagged, and stuffed inside an old oil drug in the boiler room.

“I am so happy the police responded so quickly and the little boy was saved,” said Mr. Murphy.

Ryan Murphy is a carpenter and works in the region.

The whole incident started about 6pm when another witness, a woman in Levis near Quebec City telephoned police to report that she had observed a man force a young boy into his vehicle trunk and drive off.

Police have arrested the building 50-year-old janitor and charged him with abduction of a child under 14, abduction, and unlawful confinement.
