Toronto - In an announcement shortly before quarterly revenue results were scheduled to be released Rogers Communication stated they would be bringing the popular iPhone to market in Canada before the end of 2008.

The new reported profits for Rogers is up to 54 cents a share, or $344 million dollars. This was a big gain for the company in their first quarter financial report.

The company has done well recently by its own judgment, adding to their customer base about 45,000 new customers for VoIP telephone voice over Internet business, as well as an additional 41, 000 regular cable subscribers.
