Prince Henry of Whales, also known as Prince Harry, has made the news official that he was a part of a crew on an Apache helicopter that killed Taliban soldiers on his most recent military tour in Afghanistan. The 28 year old son of royalty did not disclose the number of insurgents that he had killed or the exact location of the attack. He did say that his role in the mission was as a copilot gunner.

Harry is known to his crew mates as Captain Wales, a playful spin on his royal moniker. He is said to be just a regular enlisted man while on base and asks to not be treated any differently than his comrades.

Prince Harry has been deployed overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan several times since his enrollment in the British Army in 2006.

Prince Harry is the younger of two sons of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales. He is third in line for the British throne currently occupied by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
