London (EON) – The flooding in England only continues to get worse with no sign of letting up as more and more people are being forced to evacuate their homes and leave everything they own behind to escape the waters.
100 people have been forced out of Oxford today due to the severe flooding which keeps getting worse. Police stated that they wanted to evacuate an additional number of homes as well. They also ordered a few hundred homes to get to higher ground as soon as possible if they did not want to flee.
The flood waters in Oxford continue to rise as they are now about 4 feet deep. The flood waters have not made it to the major parts of Oxford yet but the possibility is there that it will. The estimates in place for flood damage in Britain is expected to total several billion dollars once it is all done.
This is the worst flood in decades in Britain.
