BPA’s Linked To Ed
Chinese research study has linked Bisphenol-A, a chemical used in making plastic products to one possible cause of erectile dysfunction. Although there is a great deal of controversy over the validity of their research, other research has linked Bisphenol-A or BPA to a slew of health risks from birth defects to prostrate cancer.
The connection of BPA linked to erectile dysfunction or ED is confusing as other studies claim that BPA does not pose a danger to adults but may pose a danger to children.
The Chinese research used mice as test subjects and their research may lack validity in humans. One result of the Chinese research was to make baby bottle companies quit the manufacture of bottles using BPA.
Another study that might suggest a real connection between BPA and erectile dysfunction was sponsored by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. In their published research results, they concluded that men who are exposed to BPA have a greater risk of premature ejaculation and a slightly higher than normal risk of erectile dysfunction.
