Partnering with Johnson and Johnson Consumer Cos. PMTI will now begin to sell a laser device that will treat periorbital wrinkles. The antiaging industry is a huge market. Light based therapies have been use for decades. Physicians and clinics have large, expensive lasers used to treat wrinkles in their offices. Spas and salons often make use of the same technology for facials and for hair removal. Now consumers will be able to perform similar treatments themselves at home.
