New Research Confirms There Is No Credible Link Between Issues
Washington, D.C.-In a new effort to dispel the long running issue that some people believe that the vaccination for measles causes autism or contribute to Autism risks Columbia University researchers recently conducted a new study.
Their new study of the Measles mumps and rubella vaccine, or MMR vaccine proves that there is no more risk to those individuals that take MMR vaccine than people who do not.
Parent advocates for Autistic children and their families remain unconvinced, they believe that people who have had the MMR vaccine have given birth at times to severely autistic children and they hold the vaccine as the culprit.
However, the researchers affiliated with the Mailman School of Public Health Center for Infection and Immunity located at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons are also convinced that the MMR vaccine has no link to autism at all.
The researchers looked for any links or connections between autism and people that had received the MMR vaccine in the past, or boosters as adults, and found none.
It comes as a blow to Autism activists who feel that the rug has been yanked out from under them, and that the scientific community will not listen to their concerns.
The study looked at the two different issues and tried to find common areas or links between the two, and could not.
The new study is being published on the Internet in the Public Library Of Science journal.
