Some Types Of Protein Induce Positive Bone Growth
Boston, MA- New research has linked the development of some various bone proteins and the development of what is referred to as “good fat.â€
A project of research that has been conducted by scientists at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston has revealed that some types of good brown fat helps build bone growth, and burns calories, fighting obesity.
It also appears to be an element in helping prevent or retard the development of Type II diabetes.
Author of the study Ya Hua Tseng is an assistant investigator in the Obesity and Hormone Action division of Joslin Section of the Diabetes Center.
Different types of white cells are designed normally to store energy, but the main role of the discovered “Brown Fat†seems to be to generate heat, burn calories, and that this type of brown fat can largely disappear by the time a person reached full adulthood.
The new study is being published in the August 21st edition of science Journal Nature.
The Joslin diabetes team hopes that this type of brown fat cell research will help reveal new things in fat development and how it affects the development of diabetes, both in children and adults, and whether it place a role in better treatment of diabetes as a whole.
