
Family Man And Beloved Father Takes Own Life
Frederick, MD- There was growing suspicion on the part of the FBI and law enforcement officials that the Doctor that had been involved in the detection of the deadly Antrax scare several years ago.
Bruce E. Ivins arrived for a group session of counseling in his hometown of Frederick Maryland armed with a gun and a Bulletproof vest and spoke of thinking of killing his Army laboratory co workers in a spate of workplace violence.
Others where he worked at the Army research labs noticed his erratic behavior and sought restraining orders against Dr. Ivins after his bizarre behavior and threats.
The ranting and raving of Dr. Ivins ended when he acted alone, and took his own life last week.
Dr. Ivins has become the main suspect for the 2001 Antrax deaths that have stumped individual investigators in the FBI, and other federal agencies.
Three decades of positive work went up in an instant with the suicide of Dr. Ivins.
And now he is the main suspect in the national Antrax 2001 attacks.
The transformation of a active, good natured church attending scientist to the ranting, crazed lunatic behavior of Dr. Irvins before the end baffles those who knew him best.
Everyone that knew Dr. Irvins long term referred to him as a person with high goals, and everyone is saddened by the loss of a great former medical researcher.
