Massive Resignation Of Cancer Professionals Prompts Pledge
Newfoundland- The Minister of Health for Newfoundland has responded strongly to the mass resignation of all of the cancer oncologists.
He has stated that if necessary the Newfoundland will pay to transport any cancer patient needing treatment by air to a hospital or cancer treatment center where they need to be.
Recently a large group of cancer doctors and oncologists tendered their resignation after revelations and accusations began to surface regarding shoddy patient care and misdiagnosis began to come to light.
The Health Minister of Newfoundland has tried to take charge and assure the public and patients that are struggling with Cancer that they will be taken care of and routed where they can receive quality care, but his efforts to reassure the public are partly falling on deaf ears.
The province now has the dubious distinction of being the place where cancer patients simply have no doctors to consult.
No one is clamoring to travel to a locale where all of the gynecological and cancer oncologists have packed up their bags and moved on.
Shortages of specialist medical professionals and other doctors are likely to follow, and this does not bode well for the successful health support for residents of the Newfoundland province.
