Lawsuit Filed In Ohio Against Store Chain
Dublin, Ohio-There have been a number of E. Coli infections in both Ohio and Michigan this year suspected to be linked to tainted ground beef sold at Kroger Grocery Stores.
A lawsuit was filed in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio of the behalf of a woman who is a New Albany Ohio resident.
The claimant says that she ate beef patties that were purchases on June 4th at a Kroger Grocery Store in Dublin Ohio and that she then became sick from the tainted beef.
She was in the hospital from the E. Coli Virus but now has been able to return home.
There has been an ongoing voluntary recall of the Kroger Store Brand of ground beef after the beef that was sold in Gahanna Ohio tested positive for E. Coli bacteria.
Both the Grocery store chain and officials from local county and state health departments have been striving to find the source of the tainted beef.
It is believed that one of the suppliers to the Kroger Food chain had given tainted beef, as there are also E. Coli cases being reported across Michigan, as well as others in Ohio.
