Study Shows Flooding System With Water Not Beneficial

Washington – Two researchers have announced that drinking large amounts of water does not hold any medical benefits.
University of Pennsylvania researchers based in Philadelphia have examined literature and scientific studies from around the world to help determine what health benefits, if any, exist in drinking large quantities of water.
Dr. Dan Negoianu and Dr. Stanley Goldfarb looked at people in dry, hot climates, and also athletes who do have increased water needs. These two groups, along with people that have some diseases do seem to do well on increased water intake.
But for the rest of us, increased water intake does no good.
Healthy average people do not seem to experience any benefits from large amounts of water. They conducted a scientific based review, which exposes four myths that are commonly believed about large water intake.
Some people believe that large amount of water intake reduces the frequency of headaches, gives skin improved tone, reduces hunger, and increases the amount and rate of which toxins are secreted from the body.
Doctors Goldfarb and Negoianu found that there was no evidence to support any of these four claims.
“Kidneys work to rid the body of toxins. That’s what they are supposed to do. But the rate of toxin secretion is controlled by the kidneys, when you drink more water you simply put out more urine, not more toxins†said Dr. Goldfarb.
