Boston (EON) – President Bush was apparently treated for Lyme disease one year ago.
This came after he developed a rash called “bull’s eye.”
This came during Bush’s annual medical report which came out on tuesday after he had his annual physical exam. The report also stated that the president lost four pounds inthe last year and was in “excellent” health with “superior” physical fitness.
White House officials did not go into detail in regards to the actual treatment Bush had to go through for the Lyme disease but stated that it was pretty standard treatment. Reports state that he had no other symptoms of the disease other than the initial rash.
White House spokesman Scott Stanzel stated that “It was the standard, reccomended treatment for early, localized Lyme disease.”
The rash took place at some point in August 2006 and there is no telling where Bush may have caught the disease.
