Washington – The lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for the Barenaked Ladies, Steven Jay Page, has announced he has pleaded not guilty to charges against him.
The charges stem from an arrest in New York just last week.
He was arrested along with two other women, as all 3 face drug charges.
Steven Page was arrested on drug charges and was due in court today.
Court documents show that Page told police that he did have cocaine, when he was asked about the white substance.
He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and paid $10,000 bail and was released.
