LOS ANGELES – The star of the small screen, whose circumstances of death is still blurred, was 56 years old.
American actress Erin Moran, who played Joanie, Richie’s younger sister in the Happy Days series , died at the age of 56 in unclear circumstances. The “inanimate” body of the actress was found after a call to the rescue services Saturday in late afternoon on Saturday, said the Harrison County Police Department in Indiana.
“It was then established that Erin Marie Moran Fleischmann was dead and an autopsy is planned,” he added.
According to the website The Indianapolis Patch , the body of the actress was found in a bungalow in the small town of Corydon.
An actress with “troubled soul”
In the Happy Days series , which lasted 10 years (from 1974 to 1984), Erin Moran played Joanie Cunningham, Richie’s little sister, played by Ron Howard. She then became the star of the series, Joanie loves Chachi .
“Sad, sad news,” Erin said, “I’ll always remember you as the one that made the scenes better, made people laugh and illuminate the television screens,” Ron Howard tweeted.

Henry Winkler, who played the role of Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli, also reacted on social networks. “Oh Erin … you will finally find the peace that you wanted so much to find on earth … That you repose in it serenely now … too early,” he wrote.
