Dorothy Mengering, David Letterman’s Mom Dead At 95

Dorothy Mengering , mother of David Letterman , has died at the age of 95 years. It has also become famous thanks to several appearances in the famous show of David’s son.

As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Ms. Mengering died Tuesday. He appeared in the Late Show Letterman for the first time in 1994, as a correspondent from the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. His television appearances had proved immediately very successful, bringing to interview Nancy Kerrigan and Hillary Clinton . During the show, he had been re-match from the Winter Olympics in Nagano and Salt Lake City.

In 1996 he published a successful cookbook: Home Cookin ‘With Dave’s Mom , containing many recipes for a large number of blueberry pies and chocolate.
