LOS ANGELES (EON) – Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin, who was the other half of Rob Dyrdek’s hit MTV show “Rob & Big” — has died.

His rep tells TMZ Chris died Tuesday morning. No official cause of death yet, but multiple people connected to Chris tell us they believe it was a heart attack.

He was Rob’s best friend and bodyguard on their reality show, which ran from 2006 to 2008 — and also later appeared on ‘Fantasy Factory.’

  3. Well that just ruined my day. This was a fantastic human with a lot of love in his heart. The world needs so much more of that right now. RIP Big Black. You are missed.

  4. Oh,come on.most of the people commenting on his death probably didn’t have any real interest in him til just now because it’s trendy on social media and more easy to relate to then the director of the fbi being suddenly because he was investigating the president. I’m not normally into crazy conspiracy
theories, but it’s pretty ironic the media is obsessing over a has been MTV reality show side kick from how long ago?-when they’re some serious events going on in
    Washington right now.nice distraction…

  5. I watched that show one day was back and couldn’t get enough of it. Loved them. So, f-ing sad. And a veteran, to boot. Thanks for all of the laughs, big man.

  6. His male stripper alter ego was my favorite. A big teddy bear from what I saw on the show. Just because Rob hasn’t said anything doesn’t mean his heart isn’t feeling something. People need to quit speculating. Noone on here(including myself) actually knew either one or their heart.

  7. Damn man he was a real cool dude. I seen him on Sunset Blvd at Highland buying some black n milds at a cigarette booth. I’m an MTA driver I was doing line 2, I cracked the door open and yelled “what up #bigblack and he yelled back “What’s up my brotha! We just out here making things happen!” Man may he R.I.P. my condolences to his family and friends. #robandbig #christopherboykin
