Should You Send a Mother’s Day E-Card?
Mother’s Day is the one instance a year where Mom is celebrated by all. You don’t even need to be someones Mother for them to want to tell you how much they care. Grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and step mothers are just a few examples of the women that may be in your lives, who deserve attention on this day.
A bone of contention with some, is the fact that people are not as personal anymore. With the invention of email and electronic messaging, no one ever talks to each other, let alone, takes the time to buy a card, write in it, and mail it. The older generations do seem to continue this tradition, where the younger ones, go the electronic route.
It all depends on who you are, where you are, and what you are used to. A person who has a Mom that lives in close proximity, would usually see them in person. Some would take a short trip, some would call, and some would just send a card. The choice between an e-card and a real one will be up to the giver and sometimes the recipient.
If the one you are sending to is technologically inclined, an e-card may be the way to go. If not, a real one would be a better option. The question of whether or not to send an e-card or stick with the traditional option can only be answered by you. Just make sure you are thinking of the other person when you decide.
