Pro golfer Tiger Woods broke his silence Wednesday.

In a written statement, he admits he turned his back on family and expressed regret for his “transgressions” from the depths of his heart. He admitted failing to comply with its own values and has not been the man his family deserves.

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone,” Woods wrote.

A website that chronicles the lives of celebrities, TMZ.com, Contends that Tiger Woods is having an affair with a woman named Rachel Uchitel, a hostess of a New York bar and an argument with his wife on this matter had caused the accident.

Us Weekly added Wednesday, an audio clip of Woods speaking on the answering machine to another women, a waitress by the name of Jaimee Grubbs with whom he had maintained a longstanding connection.

Later today yet another alleged mistress surfaced.  Kalika Moquin, like Rachel Uchitel, is another nightclub executive, this time a marketing manager with the The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio in Las Vegas, reports sfgate.com.

However unlike Grubbs, Moquin isn’t talking.

“It’s not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other,” Kalika Moquin said in an interview with, Life and Style Magazine.

The world’s number one golfer has been married five years to former Swedish model Elin Nordegren. He is the father of two children.

Tiger Woods was involed in a crash about 2 o’clock on the night of Friday, when he left his home near Orlando, Florida. His sport utility vehicle struck a fire hydrant before coming to rest against a tree. His wife had to use a golf club to help him exit the vehicle.

Police have ruled out any action against the golfer, but imposed a fine for careless driving.
