Just a few days after Tiger Woods was involved in car accident, more questions are being asked than answered.
Rachel Uchitel, the woman who allegedly had an affair with Tiger Woods, claims that her friend was paid a good amount of money to make up the story for the National Enquirer and that she has never had a “relationship” with the famous golfer.
Uchitel was at the same Melbourne hotel at the same time as Woods.
“How is it possible that I walked up to the counter at [Woods’] hotel in Melbourne, asked for a room key, and went to the 35th floor? And that I would be dumb enough to let the Enquirer into the elevator and see me push the button saying ‘35?’” Rachel said.
She added, “As part of my job, I have to keep many secrets about celebrities, so for [the Enquirer to report] me as going around telling people about something like this doesn’t make sense. I’m not that big of an idiot.”
As for the latest reports on Tiger Woods’ minor car crash caused by a domestic dispute in which he may have been attacked by his angry wife, Elin Nordegren, who apparently had confronted her husband, probably demanding him to tell the truth about the possible affair.
If Tiger’s wife did scratch his face, she may be charged with domestic abuse. For now, the couple has denied to talk to the cops.
Rachel said, “God forbid Tiger got into a car wreck because of this false report of him having an affair. Despite it being completely untrue, it still must have certainly caused some problems at home — if I was his wife, I probably would have killed him. This is nothing to do with me. We have never had an affair, and the claims we did are completely false. We have never had an affair, talked on the phone or sent any type of text, sexy or not. I am really upset about it because I am being portrayed as a homewrecker, when it simply isn’t true.”
The socialite has apparently bragged to friends that Tiger has promised to serve Elin with divorce papers as a first step towards building a life with her. A second tabloid source adds: “I know for a fact that Tiger and Rachel got together for four days in Los Angeles. She talks about their affair all the time. She thinks Tiger is going to leave his wife and marry her…..”
Uchitel has apparently decided to hire the high profile lawyer Gloria Allred to possibly sue the National Enquirer for defamation.
Tiger married Swedish model Elin Nordegren, now 29, in October 2004. Their daughter, Sam, was born in June 2007, and the young family just welcomed a son, Charlie, last February.
