Could an end to the messy divorce of Jon and kate Gosselin finally be coming to an end.

According to Jon’s attorney, Mark Heller the former couple had a production divorce prceeding this past weekend.

He said: “It was a positive move in the right direction for us to bring them together to the mediation table. Obviously before two warring parties can smoke the peace pipe, they have to sit down at a table and address the issues that brought them to the skirmish.”

The hearing was so successful, there was no need to keep another one set for the following day, Heller said. The uptick was a shift from the recent warring over money Kate claimed Jon snaffled out of their joint bank account. He added: “There were a couple of very emotional moments but in the end it all came together and concluded on a happy note.”

Jon, for whatever reason, also brought Kate roses.

“This has been called the real-life War of the Roses,” Jon’s attorney Mark Heller told People, “and he brought that as a peace offering to break the ice and try to bring the war to an end.”

Bitter to the end, Kate turned them down.
