Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock is trapped in the middle of a bitter custody battle between her husband Jesse James and his adult film star ex-wife Janine Lindemulder.

James, Sandra’s other half, is determined not to let his ex-wife, adult film star Janine Lindemulder, gain custody of the daughter they share.

In a statement to the court, James said:

“Good cause exists for the court to conduct a review to determine if (Sunny) will be safe with (Lindemulder). She should be restrained from allowing the child around pornographers, drug addicts, guns and firearms, felons and other unsafe environments.”

Bullock said that the bitter battle is forced her to stop working.

“I myself have stopped working like I used to in order to be here with Jesse and the kids because we are on constant ‘high alert.’ Never knowing what condition Janine will be in, and even more concerning, the condition Sunny will be in,” said Bullock.

“While in Janine’s care, sometimes Sunny is left alone during the day, while her mother is asleep from drug use.”

Lindemulder is denying all accusations and says she deserves to have custody of her daughter.and suggests that ‘The Proposal’ star was trying to “take away [her] daughter,” but James wants Bullock left alone.

“Sandra Bullock is not a party to this litigation,” the “Monster Garage’ host’s lawyer tells PEOPLE.

“Mr. James’s sole concern is for the safety, welfare and best interests of his daughter. The proper forum to resolve this case is in the courtroom,” his lawyer adds.

James’ was given sole custody of Sunny while Janine was in prison and on October 13 a court order granted Janine visitation rights on Sundays.
