Happy Birthday, Bella. What would any girl in her shoes wish for on her special day? Hmmm, how about a kiss from a tall, pale and handsome dude who reads minds (except yours, thank goodness), is super strong and able to run at outlandish speeds while carrying you on his back as if you were weightless?

And, don’t forget he’s also a vampire so captivated by the scent of your blood, if you weren’t the love of his life, he’d eat you for breakfast, literally.

Twilight madness has reached a fever pitch as the opening of the second movie installment, “New Moon,” looms closer to the magic day – November 20.

Quite a few trailers have been released from the movie studio or “unofficial” sources to tantalize us, but they always leave us panting for more.

We’ve seen Jacob sans shirt and morphing into a wolf, we’ve caught glimpses of the evil Volturi, and scenes of Edward defending his human squeeze from thirsty foes, but hardly any of the teen supreme couple in a happy moment, until now.

At least they should be happy; after all, she’s getting her birthday wish, but don’t you detect tension in Edward’s face when he leans in for the passionate smooch? Fans of the books know there’s more danger, drama and desire ahead for the lovebirds.

This is what we crave and expect. It’s a very brief clip compared to some of the others, but we’ll take what we can get for now.
