Liam Neeson has signed on to join Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks in “The Next Three Days”, a thriller from director Paul Haggis (“In the Valley of Elah” and “Crash”).
This adaptation of the French film “Pour Elle” has Russell Crowe as a teacher whose wife (Banks) is accused and convicted of a murder she says she didn’t commit.
Neeson plays an ex-con who wrote a book and advises the husband on the best way to help his wife escape from prison.
Neeson is currently filming “The A-Team” in Vancouver and once that is complete will join the filming of “The Next Three Days” which started shooting on Friday in Pittsburgh.
